Bookings, Fees and Cancellations
Fee Payment
All fees are payable at the time of consultation. MacAllan Health may require a deposit on bookings. If required, this fee will be advised at the time of booking.
MacAllan Health can submit claims direct to Medicare on your behalf, or alternatively you can submit the claim yourself to obtain your rebate.
Private clients will be provided with an invoice which they can submit to their Private Health Fund provider, or we can submit it on your behalf so you only pay the gap fee.
DVA clients will have their claim submitted direct to DVA. Please note DVA will not cover the cost of no-show or cancellation fees.
Workers Compensation / CTP & 3rd Party Insurance Claims are billed direct to the insurer.
NDIS clients will have their appointment billed directly to their plan manager or provider within 7 days of service.
MyAgedCare clients will have their appointment billed directly to their Support at Home package provider.
Cancellations & Appointment Rescheduling
To avoid a late cancellation charge a minimum of 2 full clear business day's notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment - this applies to all appointment types.
If cancellation or request to reschedule occurs with less than 2 full clear business day's notice, the appointment may be charged at 100% of the session cost.
Cancellations with more than 2 full clear business day's notice will have any deposit refunded upon request.
Reschedule with more than 2 full clear business day's notice will have any deposit credited towards the new appointment.
NDIS and MyAgedCare clients - less than 2 full clear business day's notice for either cancellation or reschedule will forfeit the full session fee.
Please note that Medicare, Private Health Funds and 3rd Party providers, do not usually cover the costs for cancelled sessions, and you may be responsible for these costs if a late cancellation occurs.
Fees
Fees may apply to cover travel time and distance for the clinician to attend appointments. These fees will be advised either at the time of booking or upon confirmation, prior to the appointment.
